Summer service program schedule
The Valkeala summer services begin with pre-services on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 1:00 pm. The opening services are on Friday, June 29th at 10 a.m. in the big tent. The summer services include a total of forty sermons. The communion service will be in the tent on Saturday, June 30th, beginning with a sermon at 3 p.m. After communion there will be a speech or introduction directed to the youth. Sunday, July 1st there will be a morning worship service at 10 a.m. Simultaneously with this tent service, priests from the summer services will officiate in worship services at ten state churches in the surrounding communities.
Sermons will be interpreted into Swedish, English, Russian and Estonian (own radio frequencies), plus other languages, upon request (via induction receiver).
Worship Services in the State Churches
As part of the summer services, the organaizers have arranged to conduct morning worship services in nine state churches in the nearby communities. These worship services will be held on Sunday, July 1st, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., in the following churches:
