Trust in God

The chairman of the main committee, Tapani Kinnunen was grateful to be able to welcome all the summer service guests to Valkeala. Joy and thankfulness filled his heart by the way many private individuals, local officials have supported their preparation and affected success.

Tapani Kinnunen remembered his own experiences of trips to the summer services and acknowledged how the word of God has resounded unchanged throughout these years. As a small child he remembers the comfort hearing about a good and gracious God. Also his experiences of youth and in the midst of his own family life have brought strength and help.

The motto of the summer services, remind us that the kingdom of God is still here in our midst. This give reason to pray, that God would open our ears to listen to what He has to say. The power of God’s grace carries and the gospel comforts; All sins can be believed forgiven. God is good and we can trust in him through all of our phases in life.
