Lumijoki Summer Services have ended - Welcome to Loppi in 2012!

Lumijoki Summer Services have finished giving thanks singing hymn 344 “ Praise to the Creator of the Earth and the Sky” SRK’s Summer Servises will be organized, if God wills, in Loppi at the Räyskälä airport grounds 29.6.-2.7.2012 The main goal of Summer Services is to call people to hear God’s word.

The motto has been chosen from Psalm 48: “God is the strong comfort and security of his town” God’s congregation has often been described as a town of God. According to the Bible every man has the possibility to find a place of comfort in the town of God.

Loppi is located in the south of Häme, approximately 75km from Helsinki. The municipality of Loppi is well-known for potato farming and rich nature. The population of Loppi is approx. 8 000; during summer time it is doubled. It is the responsibility of the Helsinki RY to organize the 2012 Summer Services with the help of Espoo, Vantaa, Hyvinkää, Nurmijärvi and Lohja congregations.

Our prayer is that God will bless these Summer Services. We hope as many people as possible could find their way to hear God’s word and that their hearts could be fed.

Welcome to Loppi Summer Services!
