Summer Services is an event organized by the Central Association of the Finnish Associations of Peace (SRK). It is a public event under the Finnish Assembly Act, and everyone is welcome to attend. The event follows a program prepared by the organizers, which has been submitted as an attachment to the public event notification.
The primary purpose of the Summer Services is the proclamation and hearing of God’s Word. Everyone is welcome to participate in the Summer Services and to listen to the sermons. The program can be found on the Summer Services website at: https://www.suviseurat.fi/ohjelma/
Official permits for the event have been granted to SRK and its authorized organizing committee. In addition to these permits, the event is subject to safety and operational guidelines defined by the organizers. The program, arrangements, and overall safety of the event are the responsibility of the organizing body. The organizer is committed to these responsibilities and has arranged all auxiliary services to support the event. No activities or events outside of the organizers’ official plans may be arranged at the Summer Services.
The Summer Services organization provides all necessary services within the event area. Others are not permitted to bring services or their own content to the event, such as announcements, written or other distributable or sellable materials. Demonstrations, disturbances, or actions causing harm at the event or in the event area are not allowed. If disruptive behavior occurs, the organizing committee will request intervention from the authorities.
The prayer of both the organizers and service guests is that we may enjoy these festivities together in peace and safety. We ask for the Almighty God’s blessings for this event.
