The Summer Services site opens on Wednesday, June 24. at 9:00. <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lodging areas are filled in the order of arrival, and sites cannot be reserved in advance. If you wish to lodge near someone you know, you must arrive at the service site together, one after the other. Following the signs, route instructions, and instructions from traffic controllers helps the service site fill efficiently and keeps traffic flowing smoothly. <\/p>\n

Traffic to Summer Services is the heaviest on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and into the early hours of the night. To avoid congestion, visitors are encouraged to arrive at the service site during the daytime. <\/p>\n

On Monday, June 22 and Tuesday, June 23, from 8:00-22:00, the service site is open to people in charge, those who have work shifts on Monday or Tuesday, and those whose work shift begins on Wednesday at 12:00 noon or earlier. Anyone arriving on a Monday or Tuesday must be prepared to present a pre-distributed windshield pass or shift slip when entering the area.<\/p>\n

There is a dedicated site for rental caravans, with a key exchange point. Assistance is available on the service site on Tuesday, June 23, from 12:00 (noon) – 22:00, and on Wednesday and Thursday, June 24 and 25, from 9:00 – 22:00. Outside of those times, you can reach the on-call assistance by phone at +358 40 1320 792.<\/p>\n

Those arriving without a vehicle, with a tent or hammock, may choose their lodging place independently while taking other lodgers into consideration. The area reserved for Summer Services is fenced, and lodging is not permitted on private areas outside the fenced area. The most suitable places for individual tents are areas A6 and A2, as well as the hammock area RM. There is a limited number of trees suitable for hanging hammocks. Park all vehicles and caravans safely<\/b><\/h3>\n

In most cases, a towing vehicle and caravan fit one behind the other on a 6.5 x 12 m lodging site. A tent or another car can fit next to the towing vehicle, and an awning can fit next to the caravan. Larger 6.5 x 14 m sites are available for camper buses, ASLA. <\/p>\n

A maximum of two passenger cars are allowed on each lodging site. If the equipment does not fit safely on the site, any extra cars will be directed to the edge of the field or to a parking area. Lodging and parking outside the service site are prohibited. Find the location of your lodging unit on the Summer Services map grid. <\/p>\n

Fasten tent stakes carefully. There are also many paved areas at Kauhava Airport. If your lodging site is located on asphalt, tents must be secured with weights, such as plastic canisters filled with water. Protect the runway from dents caused by caravan stabilizer legs, for example with pieces of plywood or short boards. Do not make holes or drill into the asphalt to secure anything. Be prepared to take down tents and canopies if strong winds are forecast. <\/p>\n

Please follow the traffic guidance<\/b> to ensure orderly and safe filling of the area. Traffic controllers will direct vehicles to their designated spots. <\/p>\n

ROUTE INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kauhava Summer Services is easy to reach from different parts of Finland. For those arriving from the north, the most direct and best route is via Ylivieska along road 63. <\/p>\n

Visitors arriving from the west, from the direction of Kalajoki and Vaasa, as well as those arriving from the south, are advised to take Highway 19. From Highway 19, signs guide visitors to the Summer Services site via road 733, bypassing the center of Kauhava. <\/p>\n

For those arriving from the east, the best route is Highway 16 via Alaj\u00e4rvi. Before Kauhava, immediately after the advance sign for Summer Services, traffic to Summer Services will be directed to the service site via roads 7333 and 733. Road 7333 was resurfaced and improved a year ago, so it is in excellent condition for vehicles towing caravans and for motorhomes. <\/p>\n

The route to the service site is marked with \u201cSuviseurat\u201d signs. Near the service site, there will be separate signs for special groups, such as accessible area, service traffic, bus traffic, and camper buses. Speed limits near the Summer Services site will be lowered for the duration of Summer Services.Traffic control will be used at the most important intersections as needed, to ensure smooth traffic flow even during the busiest arrival times. Arrival traffic is expected to be the heaviest on Wednesday and Thursday. <\/p>\n

PLEASE REMEMBER:\u25cf A disabled parking permit or doctor\u2019s statement is required for those arriving at the accessible area. Anyone without the appropriate disabled permit will be directed to the regular lodging or parking areas.
\u25cf Sign language users have a separate pass that gives them access to the accessible area.
\u25cf Visitors can also travel to Summer Services by train. Bus transportation has been arranged between Kauhava railway station and the service site. <\/p>\n
