Traffic and service site filling FAQ<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Why will the Summer Services site open for lodging only on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.?
<\/b>Opening the service site also means opening the services, which would increase the number of volunteer work shifts needed. The opening services begin on Thursday. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why are there already RVs\/camper trailers\/motorhomes and people on the service site on Monday and Tuesday?
<\/b>Preparations on the service site require a large amount of volunteer work, which begins in early May and continues until the end of Summer Services. The RVs mainly belong to people serving in special positions of responsibility, whose duties begin before Summer Services. Those in responsible positions have the right to bring lodging equipment to the service site on Monday and Tuesday if they are staying overnight and working on the service site. They must have either a windshield sign distributed in advance or a work order with them. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why do the route instructions need to be followed?
<\/b>The traffic committee has planned the routes to be as safe and smooth as possible. Following the route instructions helps ensure smooth traffic flow and prevents unnecessary congestion and long waiting times. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why can\u2019t I reserve a spot for a friend or relative?
<\/b>The service site is filled from several directions at the same time. Filling in the so called “gaps” in the lodging areas after the site has otherwise been filled would cause congestion and would especially affect pedestrian safety. Enough lodging area has been reserved so that everyone should fit on the service site. If gaps are left, there may not be enough lodging spaces as planned. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why are tent groups not allowed?
<\/b>For example, a group of several tents covered with a tarp is extremely dangerous in the event of an accident. If a fire starts in one individual tent, it can cause the entire tent group to catch fire. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
