Care and health services

First aid

The first aid station at the Summer Services provides emergency service from 10:00 Thursday, June 26, to 14:00 Monday, June 30. The emergency service is meant for patients in need of immediate first aid only. Other healthcare issues and treatment should be taken care of at your local healthcare center. Make sure you take your regular medication, health treatment items, and effective prescriptions with you to the services.

A polyclinic fee of €10/person will be charged at the first aid station to cover material expenses.

Infections (e.g., vomiting, diarrhea) spread easily in campground settings. The overall health condition of an infected person can deteriorate quickly. You should stay home if you are ill, and a person who contracts a stomach infection at the services should go home to treat it. Hand hygiene is of primary importance in preventing epidemics. You should always wash your hands with soap and water and apply a disinfectant to your dried hands after using the WC. Also apply a disinfectant to your hands before beginning to eat. You should also have soap and disinfectant available at your camper or tent. Pets are not allowed at the service site due to reasons of safety and hygiene.

Ambulance

You can order an ambulance by calling the emergency number, 112, or by contacting a nearby security guard or traffic director. Mark the location of your camper or tent on the map in your service schedule booklet in case of an emergency situation. There is an ambulance on call at the service site throughout the services.

Pharmacy

There is a service site pharmacy located near the first aid station. It is stocked with the most common self-medication products, bandages, and other pharmacy items. Prescription medications prescribed by a doctor are transported to the service site pharmacy from the Pyhäjoki pharmacy a few times a day. The service site pharmacy is open Thu–Sun 10:00–21:00 and Mon 10:00–13:00.

Children’s care center

The children’s care center is situated in the main service area. The children’s care center has a facility for lost children, a breastfeeding station (equipped with a microwave oven for heating food), and a children’s bathing station. When the children’s care center is closed, lost children are brought to the security office. Make sure your children have a name tag affixed to their clothing or a bracelet with their parents’ phone numbers on it. Bracelets are sold at the info booth, the store, and the cafeteria. The children’s care center is open Thu 10:00–24:00, Fri 9:00–24:00, Sat 9:00–1:00 am, Sun 9:00–24:00, and Mon 9:00–14:00.

Children’s bathing stations

The children’s bathing stations are situated near the WCs. The bathing stations are meant for children with diapers. There is a separate bathing area for children with diarrhea. Please take your own towel, diapers, and soap with you. The children’s bathing stations are open Thu 11:00–22:30, Fri–Sun 8:00–24:00, and Mon 8:00–14:00.

Elders’ rest stop

The elders’ rest stop is meant for service guests who need a place to rest during the day due to their high age or weakened functional capacity. The elders’ rest stop is open Thu 12:00–18:00, Fri–Sun 9:00–20:00, and Mon 9:00–14:00.
