Info for International Guests

Service guests from foreign countries can gather together and obtain information or make new acquaintances with other service guests at this International Info Center. Summer services are an international event and gathering. There are service guests from about 30 different nationalities. Most of them arriving from Finland’s neighboring countries and from the USA and Canada.

Sermons are translated into sign language and simultaneously interpreted into Swedish, English, Russian, Estonian, German, French, Spanish and Hungarian languages. On the service site it is possible to tune into these languages using a regular FM-radio, which can be borrowed from the International Info Center.

Live broadcasts of the interpreted sermons can be listened to via radio, on the internet, or after services as achieved recordings. The translation service for the various languages are also marked on the printed booklet of the service program. The flag of that respective country is indicated on the schedule. The same flag icon on the internet version opens the link to the interpretation or recording.

The row of flags at the service site represent all 19 countries where this same organizer, SRK does mission work.

On Sunday, July 2nd, there will be foreign language worship services in English and Swedish. The English language service will be in the Reposaari church. The Swedish  language service will be in the Teljä church. These liturgy or mass worship services will begin a 10 a.m. and there will be bus transportation for a small fee, departing from the bus station at the service site.
