Welcome to SRK Summer Services in Loppi!

Everyone is warmly welcome to the Summer Services! The Central Organization of Conservative Laestadians in Finland (SRK) Summer Services will be held at the Räyskälä airfield in Loppi on 27-30th of June 2025. The motto of the Summer Services is “Whom have I in heaven but you?” (Ps. 73:25). The motto tells comfortingly what the only lasting security is for us in all phases of our lives: God who is in heaven.

The site for the Summer Services is the Räyskälä airfield and the surrounding forest and fields. Summer Services have been previously held here in 2012 and 2022.

The Räyskälä airfield is the largest sport aviation center in the Nordic countries. The surrounding land are Finnish army’s training area. A small portion of the service site is privately owned farming land.

The Ry’s responsible for organizing the services are Helsinki, Järvenpää, Kouvola, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Lempäälä, Mäntsälä, Pornainen, and Porvoo. The Lahti Ry holds the main organizing responsibility.

A lot of cooperation has been carried out with the municipality of Loppi, Räyskälä airfield foundation, Finnish Forestry Board, Finnish Defence Forces, multiple authorities and congregations along with the residents of the surrounding area. The cooperation has been good and constructive, and we are thankful for it. We are also thankful for the patience shown by the local residents relating to the organization of the Summer Services. We have prepared the Summer Services with a thankful mind: God’s has richly blessed our work.

God has in his word promised to lift up, carry, and save. Our prayer is that we may be in the caretaking of God’s word even at these Summer Services.
