Summer Services Radio will begin broadcasting from Summer Services in Kauhava on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 12:00 noon.

The Summer Services Radio broadcast, which lasts for more than a month, will begin on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 12:00 noon with a live broadcast from the Summer Services service site in Kauhava. After Summer Services, Summer Services Radio will also broadcast three opisto services: the Jämsä opisto services from Keuruu, as well as the opisto services from Ranua and Reisjärvi. On the weekends between Summer Services and the opisto services, broadcasts will be heard from summer services organized by the sister organizations of the Central Association of Finnish Associations of Peace, SRK, namely the LLC in North America and the SFC in Sweden. As with the Summer Services broadcast, each weekend will also include programs and music.

All sermons, worship services, singing sessions, Sunday school, and presentations held in the Summer Services tent can be followed through the radio broadcast and livestream. During breaks between services, listeners will hear impressions and current information from the service site, explore various program topics in more depth, and hear music from SRK recordings.

– Summer Services Radio is part of summer for many Finns. According to listener feedback, its audience also includes people who do not belong to the Conservative Laestadian revival movement but still wish to listen to Summer Services Radio programming. Summer Services Radio broadcasts have become more international year by year. Online radio and interpretation of the services into different languages make it possible for people to receive the message of the services both in Finland and around the world.

SRK’s mission work has expanded in recent years through various digital communication channels. Services are broadcast, for example, through the mission work website kingdomofpeace.net and its social media channels. – For example, the Kingdom of Peace Facebook account has more than one million followers, and services broadcast through it have been listened to tens of millions of times around the world, says Harri Vähäjylkkä, SRK’s communications manager.

Summer Services Radio is run entirely by volunteers, with a team of about 200 people. Frequency information, the radio program, the online radio player, and recordings of the sermons and programs that have been broadcast can be found at kesaseuraradio.fi. Summer Services can be followed by livestream on the SRKnyt YouTube channel, and the opisto services on the opistos’ own YouTube channels.
